Better late than never.

I've been meaning to blog about this for a while now. I'm so busy with school and social activities that I haven't been able to blog much other than the Holiday Gift Giveaway. I wanted to give a big thank you to Parmie from the SF Examiner and Gillian from Karmaloop! They both are amazing and inspiring fashionable women! Click on the images to read the lovely features!

Three things: Shoes, dress, lipstick! All I have to say is I'm quite happy that I work at Aldo. People always talk about how retail sucks, but I love the customer interaction. Talking to people makes me happy, especially when it's about shoes. And isn't this dress just incredible? I love the studded center! The dress is a little too short for me but luckily I already sold it! I also decided it was finally time to be more bold and buy red lipstick. I had such a hard time finding the right shade but I managed to like this one. It's from MAC! I didn't know I had to wear a lip liner either. The lady who helped me laughed when I tried putting it on myself. Note: I've never worn lipstick on my own...nothing this bright anyway. But I love it and am now an addict! Throw in some eyeliner and it's classic!

This week is going to be incredibly hectic once again. I feel like I haven't recuperated from being pledge master in my community service fraternity or my midterms or just work in general. Now it's going to be a crazy fun filled week with mostly social activities.

Thursday: BARExFAST "Meet the Designers" Night at UC Berkeley! Event info. Hopefully I can try to make it out to Berkeley! If not, I'll be in Davis running around with friends. My friend Val is designing a dress and I get to model it for her. I'm anxious to see what it looks like.
Friday: Heading to the San Jose Tech Museum with the boy-the exhibit is Star Trek! How cool is that!? Then walk around and of course, take pictures.
Saturday: There's a benefit concert in UC Davis and helps the UC Davis Children's Hospital. Event info.
Sunday: Bay Area Blogger Meet Up! Come hang out with us at the SF MOMA YBCA Gardens at 12 Noon! I'm really excited since I've never been to one and these girls are just lovely. If you spot a gangly Asian girl, that's me!

I want to watch the school perform Macbeth though. Must find time to throw it in my schedule. And I'm super duper sorry on not getting back on comments! I seriously do check out every blog :) I've just been swamped with work! <3

Chains, sequins, zippers overdose.

There's just something about chains, sequins, and zippers that make my fingers itch and my bank account burn. I love the whole rocker girl edge with all the black. I've been feeling inspired a lot lately by a lot of things. I really should post pictures of what I'm inspired by when I don't have the time to take pictures of my outfits. I've been incredibly busy with school, work, and life in general. The work load has been gradually lessening and now I have more leisure time!

Something new that's suddenly occurred in my life is I am a now proud employee of Aldo shoes! I started this week and hence the dressy get up. I'm trying for retail experience and so far, it's been good. I also interviewed for the Asian American Film Festival's external/internal publicist position. I hope I get it! I need all the experience I can go to apply for this summer's Disney internship among others. There's so much I want to do but so little time! Graduation is rollin' around this June!

Isn't this moto jacket amazing? I swear I love NastyGal's stuff. Everyone should own a piece from their shop.

I decided to lay down on the carpet-yes, there are times I like to lay sprawled out on the ground after an exhausting day. The Boy decided to snap up this picture. Now I look like some kind of broken rag doll. Pretttttyy cool, yeah?

Happy Halloween, cuties!

And so begins the rain.

Shirt: UO Jeans: DIY shredded Necklace: Forever 21 Headband: H&M
Leggings: Forever 21 Boots: Aldo Trench: Cooach Umbrella: Burberry

The rain's been driving me crazy. It rains one day and then stops another. The upside is that I finally get to put a few investments to use! I love the crisp Coach trench I bought for the Fall. It's perfect! Also, I should probably thank the lady at Burberry who talked me into buying this metallic umbrella. It's sturdy in this Davis weather. I haven't been doing much other than doing school or fraternity business. I keep myself from going completely insane by reading everyone's blogs! There's so many I linked and need to get to. I wish I had more hours in a day. More leisure time, please.

I promise I'll get to everyone's comments! :) I need to be updated!

Good news! I decided to recycle fashion and open up my own shop too! SHOPCANDYBOX. Check it out!

I'm a sucker for Stargazer Lilies. Or just flowers in general.

Quick escape to the city.

Last Saturday:
Lately I've been feeling rather cooped up in my room. I'm here all day in my not-so-comfortable chair, working on school work or fraternity business. I haven't gone out and if I have, I've been too tired to actually enjoy it. I actually made it to NastyGal's Side Walk Sale! I woke up early, left Davis, and headed to Berkeley with a girlfriend. I'm glad I was adamant on going because I picked up great pieces of clothing! Their flier said incredibly cheap and free brownies. They weren't lying about either. I also got to meet Sophia, who's super sweet! I'm am waiting for my paycheck to come to splurge on the Jeffrey Campbell Potions and their sweet moto jacket they just got in. If they ever have another sale, everyone should go :)

I'm going to have to say the wallet is definitely my favorite buy out of everything. It's metallic gold and looks like giraffe. Giraffes are one of my favorite animals, so it probably has something to do with why I found myself drawn to it. For lunch, we went to Katan-ya! I've never had ramen at a restaurant and Oh my God, it was simply amazing. I had to use the restroom before we left and I thought the decor was nifty. Plus the picture of a tampon cartoon on the trashcan had me giggling. Thus, I snapped a few pictures. Then we shopped around a bit downtown. I'm on this jewelry buying binge. Hopefully I can wear it in the next few posts.

I love love love this jacket. It's so...floral-y and eye-catching! I decided to wear it to a family function. It was my cousin Stephanie's 11th birthday (I think? Haha I'm such a horrible cousin) party and the rest of the munchkins were all running about. We decided to mess around with my camera and take silly pictures. As if I don't have enough of them floating around :)

Nope, he definitely wasn't too happy about this one!

Today:
The start of this week has been horrid. First, it started raining like crazy. We were having a storm and I had to take the bus since my car's still in the garage. The bus was full of wet people crammed next to each other. Also, I've had two midterms and a paper (which I still need to start on) during Rush week for my community service fraternity. Being pledge parent, I have to attend all these functions and mingle-which means takes time away from being studious. I'm sleep deprived and constantly on a caffeine high. I've been wanting to post and check out everyone's updates but no time! All I've been doing is checking Twitter because it's quick! And why are we not friends if you're reading this? Follow me! So I apologize for not being able to respond back to any comments! Rest assured, I'm doing so now!

On a more fun note, there's some upcoming things to look forward to. I'm going to be doing a few gift giveaways! If you're not following, then do it so you can stay updated. One will be my own gift giveaway and the other is a collaboration with fellow bloggers! I'm ecstatic about this!
